Snowman Corner

Hello, its August 12, 2011 and we are talking about the Boston Snow scene: snowmen art, snowman sculptures, Boston snow globes, snow art and more already.

The New England Patriots football team plays before fans in Foxboro stadium this week.

Boston First Night 2011has a blog and web site up already. Theirschedule of events announcing Brilliant Ice Sculptures, Copley Square Ice Sculptures,  Ice Effects and many other snowy city events are published  here.

The Boston Snow Shake is a myth, the Boston snow man group on Facebook looks inactive, and Fitzy Snowman Sculpturing is always busy doing something creative.

Killer City, that Boston is -
My first impression of Boston came in September when I drove a moving van up loaded down with sister’s college dorm room stuff.  I remember the glistening Charles River under the Massachusetts Avenue bridge.  Boston looks great in fall.

Right Now….
The students are starting to return. There were so many college students milling about Copley Square in he Back Bay recently.

People around town seem pretty happy and the autumn leaves turning in the countryside will look terrific beside historic architecture. Foliage comes next after summer.

Fall.
